You are invited to spend a ghoulishly delightful Halloween evening at our

Danse Macabre (mini) Ball

LOCATION: Skandia Hall, Pasadena

If you like our Alice in Wonderland Tea Social, The St. Nicholas Ball, and Dancing in the Throne Room at Labyrinth Masquerade, you will love what we do with Halloween!


Bring your Spirit of whimsy and fun. This IS a DANCE event.
Beginners are welcome. All dances are taught and called.
No partner is needed. Folks are friendly and love to dance.
This is a dry event. Alcohol is not permitted.
(Historical dancers have more fun without it!)

Dance, Trick-or-Treat with friends, and more!

Costumes befitting the whimsical side of the holiday admired but not required.

The Historical Tea & Dance Society is pleased to invite you to an afternoon featuring the wonderful dances of the Colonial era (mid to late 1700s).

Tickets $35 patron level / $25 general admission
includes dance instruction, live music, and light refreshments
As always, Friendship Fund Dance Scholarships are available.
These tickets are to assist friends in our community who otherwise might not be able to attend. If interested please contact us.

Purchasing tickets in advance helps to fund the event.

MORE DETAILS ABOUT OUR TEA SOCIAL:

• Historical costumes are NOT REQUIRED; Costumes are admired not required. Many will wear costuming of the Colonial OR Regency era.

• Beginners are welcome. All dances are taught and folks are friendly.

• Light refreshments will be served. If you would like to bring something for tea time please contact us via the contact link at the bottom of the inset box on this page.

Caller James Hutson is the co-founder of the Culver City English Country Dance series and teaches historical dances including English Country dance, American Family dance, Square dance and more.

Whether you are brand new or LOVE this style of dancing, Tuesday nights in Pasadena is where you learn the skills to dance with elegance and ease! It’s a great mid-week pick-me-up with dance friends old and new.
Plan on sticking around for after hours socializing and getting the latest details on a favorite dance, the next ball, or that costume question you always wanted to ask.

P.S. If our dates and links haven’t updated yet, just email us for the link. We are a group of volunteers and don’t always remember what we’ve forgotten about. We dance (almost) EVERY 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesday!
