3:00-5:00 pm
  Victorian Turning class (Renée Camus)
Learn the fun, graceful "round" couple dances of the Victorian era (waltz, redowa, polka, and schottische). Check schedule on website to confirm dates. Drop-ins welcome, join anytime. Vault Dance Studio, Pasadena. $18 per class, or $96 for all 6 weeks. No partner needed. www.reneecamus.com

  Simi Valley Colonial Dance (Tom & Terri Willson)
American Colonial-era dancing held on the fourth Friday of approximately every other month; see website for scheduled dates. Beginner-friendly; ages teen to adult; bringing a partner is not required; admission is $5 per person. More details can be found on website www.simivintagedance.com

A wonderful small group in the foothills near Pasadena.
St Luke’s Episcopal Church, 122 S California Avenue (at Foothill Blvd), Monrovia.

  English Country dance w/live music (Annie Lasky & James Hutson)
A well established dance group on the west side with excellent teachers/callers. Lindberg Park Stone House, 5041 Rhoda Way, Culver City.
